During work at the Honeybee Bakery Cafe, your assistant manager will be leaving a basket full of goodies for you at the back, containing bánh quy bơ quế (butter cookies with the best Vietnamese cinnamon she can get her hands on), and an assortment of mứt (candied fruit preserves) for the New Year.
Such talent in the kitchen cannot be wasted! Vietnam's also gotten her a cook book on French baking, to help inspire her! A card is included:]

[ kazumi will find a medium sized, neatly wrapped box in her mailbox! there's a red knit scarf folded in there, along with an assortment of snack food-- chips, chocolate bars, you name it. as well as a sweet, home made pastry that's fried but sweet. oh, and a brief handwritten note. ]
